Red Tent is a national campaign to end homelessness initiated by Pivot Legal Society and allied organizations who believe the time to end homelessness is now. We believe that Canada's homelessness and housing crisis is a problem that can be solved. If we are going to make it happen, the fight cannot be limited to a handful of anti-poverty activists and human rights lawyers. Red Tent invites everyone who believes that housing is a human right to get involved in creating a lasting solution. Across the country, people are speaking up in support of the right to a safe and affordable place to live. We’ve decided that we want it -- now is the time to take action.
